Amazing Spider-man." Ladies and gentlemen, I am very, very pleased to
announce, your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man <i>finally</i> got the movie he deserves. It was a masterpiece.<br />
<br />
Since
it was the premier, I was worried that we wouldn't be able to get
seats, so I had us leave an hour early. Yes, I have the best mother and
sister in the world. In the end, we waited an hour and only like ten
other people came. I was like WHAT? This is the premier!!! Well, it was
at 1:30 in the afternoon, I guess everyone was at work, or something. Ah
well.<br />
<br />
Oh, but it was magnificent. Really, it was just great.
Peter was awesome, Gwen was awesome, Captain Stacy was awesome...they
were perfect, actually. There wasn't a thing that they could have done
to make them better. Sadly, I don't think that is the case with Aunt
May. I really did not like her, for some reason. And Uncle Ben seemed
just a <i>tad</i> off. I really loved the way they got Flash
Thompson, though. I was like, wow, he's perfect! Dr. Conners and the
Lizard were really wonderfully done, very believable.<br />
<br />
I really
don't think I have ever cried that much during a Marvel Movie. Actually,
I don't think I've ever cried during a Marvel movie. Well, not like
this, when I got teary during the Avengers, it was really just because I
was being hyper nerdy, and well, maybe because Coulson died. But during
this one, in the moments leading up to Uncle Ben's death, I was crying,
just because it was so sad. It was just sad knowing that he was going
to die and everything. The other time I cried, well, if I told you it
would be a spoiler.<br />
<br />
Really, it was a seriously awesome movie. It
was just a delight to watch. It was a work of art. Just the way it was
filmed, and the colors and city, and Spidey, it was just very pleasant
to look at. It's hard to explain. Watch it, maybe you'll understand.<br />
<br />
It was fun, it was moving, it was awesome, it was brilliant, it was...<br />
<br />
Amazing.<br />

That's how I feel, now, is all empty inside. I'd been
living to see that movie for months, literately dreaming about it at
night, reading every bit of news about it that I could possibly find,
and watching every single video. And now, well, now I've seen it, and
all the excitement is gone. Like a balloon that was blown bigger and
bigger and then was suddenly popped. :(<br />
OK, now that I've gotten the sad stuff aside....<br />
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGG GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF<br />
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH<br />

BADGUYWASAWESOMEEVENTHOUGHHEWASEVILANDTHEY<br />
WEREALLSOAMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<br />
*gasp*<br />
....Also, it was a cool movie.<br />
As I knew it would be. Duh.<br />
Boy,
when my epic sister Kae and I were getting ready to go, as as we were
driving to the movie theater, and sitting there waiting, I was so
excited, I was shaking and I got all lightheaded. If we hadn't been in
public, I have no doubt that I would have been screaming. <br />
Oh, it
was beautiful. When the Avengers title came up for the first time...I
got a bit teary. I am so grateful to be a nerd. (Oh, by the way, they
played the latest trailer for the Dark Knight Rises, and it was so
stupid looking and boring and dumb and didn't really make sense. I love
Batman. And it made me mad to see such a lame trailer. But at the same
time, I was thinking, Marvel is SO winning this round. XD The Amazing
Spider-man is looking even more awesome by the minute, too. XD XD XD )<br />
Oh,
there was so much awesome. It was amazing, Loki is the only guy I know
who can do so much evil stuff (He really was really, really horrible)
and still manage to wriggle a way into my heart. It's kinda annoying.
He'd do something nasty, and then he's smile, and oh, it's so endearing.
I hate liking bad guys. :( <br />
Banner was amazing, and I an VERY pleased to announce:<br />
MARK RUFFALO IS BETTER THAN EDWARD NORTON.<br />
I loved him! He was very very endearing, too, and not in a creepy way, like Loki. :D Hulk was also glorious. XD<br />
Cap
was wonderful. I didn't even really notice his outfit (which I don't
like in this movie) so that was great. He seemed a little two depressed,
though, and I don't like seeing depressed people. I know what's its
like, and I don't want to have to see Captain America go through
something like that.<br />
Stark was great. And he did have the round ARC reactor back. XD I really didn't like the triangle at all.<br />
Hawkeye
seemed *just* a little off to me. I love Haweye, and I think he was the
only one that they could have done better. He was still great, though.
They could have made him more relevant.<br />
I, as you know, love
Black Widow. And yeah, she was awesome. My only complaint with her, is I
wish she had the same beautiful long hair like she did in Iron Man II.<br />
Thor was Thor. <br />
Nick Fury was fabulous. XD I even liked Mira Hill, she was great, I was afraid she wouldn't be. :)<br />
Well, I'd say more about how I feel about the movie, but there would be spoilers.<br />
It
made me happy, it made me sad (I didn't like that part) it made me
laugh a tremendous amount. I don't EVER remember hearing that much
laughter in a movie theater before. It was wonderful. We are all sitting
there, in the same room, watching the same movie, yet we are all very
separate and have nothing to do with each other, but when we laughed, it
was like we really were all watching the movie together and it was
wonderful. It really was extremely funny.<br />
There came a day, a day unlike any other, when they said, heed the call, assemble, and it was Marvel's finest hour.<br />
(Marvel's finest two hours and 23 minutes, to be exact YD )<br />
Excelsior <br />

MONTHS! And now that it is finally here, I am extremely excited but also a little disappointed.<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEik1aEjCkWC4IAH_GdSczEQ_s-HfrSF8VnWRMKDrpapyONcVXWUCShgvHBZEy3DeWQQzONPX7UoUN1O-TxBoXu8xkXr73yZbiX_RDbzh3YQs2t69aC-D3Z_OpI4QdYhrOdHCFTtbTiTRega/s1600/avengers-posters_810.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 270px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEik1aEjCkWC4IAH_GdSczEQ_s-HfrSF8VnWRMKDrpapyONcVXWUCShgvHBZEy3DeWQQzONPX7UoUN1O-TxBoXu8xkXr73yZbiX_RDbzh3YQs2t69aC-D3Z_OpI4QdYhrOdHCFTtbTiTRega/s400/avengers-posters_810.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5714255446791261282" border="0" /></a><br /><br />It is an epic poster, truly epic. But only because of the characters. What I'm trying to say is...they could have done better. You can't see anybody's feet, that disturbs me. Several of them seem to be the wrong size. Cap looks epic, but out of place. Hawkeye looks so very UN-Hawkeye. Hulk looks like he was popped in as an after thought and is WAY to big (if you look at the Avengers Super Bowl trailer, you'll see that he is actually not that much taller than every one else.) I love it, buts it's messy. I've seen fan-made posters that are better than this.<br /><br />Seriously, I love the poster, I really do. It grows on me more every time I see it.<br /><br />The biggest problem? No Loki. All the other comic book movies have the villain on the front, in some way or another. And it is also very, VERY common to have the villain on a comic book cover, either fighting the hero/s, or looming in the background much larger than the heroes to symbolize how powerful he is.<br /><br />Again, I really, really love it. As a fan I love it. As an artist and a comic book nut, maybe not quite so much, but I do love it.<br /><br />JayJuliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00184848395248168332noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6653498019035550938.post-76169778874039101832012-02-27T12:22:00.003-08:002012-02-27T12:25:21.243-08:00Count DownJust in case you were wondering, it's 68 days until The Avengers comes out in the theater.<br /><br />XD<br /><br />I am only getting more excited as the Day draws near.<br /><br />Oh, it'll be epic.<br /><br />JayJuliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00184848395248168332noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6653498019035550938.post-81901094202024397442012-02-12T12:07:00.003-08:002012-02-16T12:09:15.240-08:00Grin of the Week<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9z5N8oxTdmtFRlazk89WRkrSpcso6FYcwi5ttad8D-Nnyh-8y8UQ7G6FQSWOejwXtzGHPFfPrvtmGoPVVQfPX3f0C-6blrUm-P0-P_YSXQxwBW_FEccnAGQte0LqI6qY46PI9XwHRzsID/s1600/142.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 316px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9z5N8oxTdmtFRlazk89WRkrSpcso6FYcwi5ttad8D-Nnyh-8y8UQ7G6FQSWOejwXtzGHPFfPrvtmGoPVVQfPX3f0C-6blrUm-P0-P_YSXQxwBW_FEccnAGQte0LqI6qY46PI9XwHRzsID/s400/142.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5709827893025140722" border="0" /></a><br />Stan Lee as Spider-man.
