The union, I approve.
The dress, I approve.
The best man, I approve.
It was lovely. All of it.
(I am talking about Prince William and Princess Cathrine. In case it isn't obvious :) )
Quite honestly, right up until I was sitting on the couch at 4:00 in the morning, I really don't think I had been at all exited about this wedding. I had been like sure, whatever, it'll be neat to see what she wears. But then and there, as it was happening, as history was happening, I realized...it was glorious.
No, glorious really doesn't come close. Nor awesome, nor amazing, nor splendid, nor lovely. I am left with no choice but to say magical. (Sometimes English falls so very short...) Don't get my wrong here, I am in no way shape of form a romantic. But this wasn't a fairy tail, even though every one called it one, that is what was so wonderful about it: it was real.
It was the future King of England and a woman who seems very nice becoming man and wife in an ancient abbey, where his ancestors have been wedded and crowned for hundreds and hundreds of years. It will be history some day. Really, it was genuinely amazing. I love watching history, particularly when it is so beautiful and the best man has a killer grin. I know like 1/3 of the world was watching, but I still feel very, very fortunate and special to have gotten to have seen this wedding.
They actually love each other. It was obvious. It was a beautiful thing to see; the way they smiled at each other. And everything I've heard about them, they actually sound like a nice couple. And that makes my very, very happy.
William and Kate, I love both of you in a very special way and I wish for you nothing but all the very best.
Sincerely,
Julie

Thor, sipping a soda.

This picture just makes me very happy.

Among my all-time top favorite things to do in hang out. (You can call it "Quality Time" if you think "Hanging out" sounds to teenagerish.) You know, just chill with some epic person you care about. Maybe washing dishes or something, or just flopped somewhere.
It is what Kae and I do most. It is where I have heard and said some of the all-time funniest things ever. It can be anything from inspiring to disgusting, but it is always wonderful.

So, it is not the greatest picture, but it is about the only one of Mace Windu where he was smiling, 'cause you know, he really doesn't smile much.

Mace Windu is about the all-time coolest Jedi. In some ways, I think he is almost cooler than Qui Gon. They are tied, maybe.

My favorite Star Wars female.
That is mostly because there are only about two women in Star Wars. But she is rather neat.

"Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?" was one of my all-time favorite quotes as a kid. :)

If you are not familiar with Hogan's Heroes, I afraid this won't make very much sense. If you are... :D

Finishing reading 'King Lear' was not a good way to start the day.
I'll be alright, though.

My favorite character from the original Star Wars trilogy is without a shadow of a doubt, Han Solo. He was my favorite when I was a little kid and he is my favorite now.

I am looking forward to May 4th! :)

Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony is so much more enjoyable when the volume is on.
Just thought I'd let you know.
:p

Paranoia is checking your bed for cockroaches.
I only remember about every other night.

Eating nachos and watching Batman Begins with Kae. It really doesn't get much better than that.
Well,...it, it does,...but that's not the point.

I hate waking up Wednesday and finding out that it is Thursday.

If you like Star Wars and little kids, I guarantee you this will be the cutest thing you watch all week.

Well, it is 31 days to May 4th. As all devout STAR WARS fans know (Or people like me who merely like Star Wars and are lucky enough to have nerd friends who are devout Star Wars fans.) May 4th is Star Wars Day.
So, as a sort of weekly countdown thing, every Monday Grin from now until then will be a Star Wars character.

Yeah, you could have guessed I'd do Qui Gon, as I have this habit of doing Liam Neeson a lot. (He is also my favorite Star Wars person.)
