The Avengers

Empty.
That's how I feel, now, is all empty inside. I'd been living to see that movie for months, literately dreaming about it at night, reading every bit of news about it that I could possibly find, and watching every single video. And now, well, now I've seen it, and all the excitement is gone. Like a balloon that was blown bigger and bigger and then was suddenly popped.  :(
OK, now that I've gotten the sad stuff aside....

*gasp*
....Also, it was a cool movie.
As I knew it would be. Duh.
Boy, when my epic sister Kae and I were getting ready to go, as as we were driving to the movie theater, and sitting there waiting, I was so excited, I was shaking and I got all lightheaded. If we hadn't been in public, I have no doubt that I would have been screaming.
Oh, it was beautiful. When the Avengers title came up for the first time...I got a bit teary. I am so grateful to be a nerd. (Oh, by the way, they played the latest trailer for the Dark Knight Rises, and it was so stupid looking and boring and dumb and didn't really make sense. I love Batman. And it made me mad to see such a lame trailer. But at the same time, I was thinking, Marvel is SO winning this round. XD The Amazing Spider-man is looking even more awesome by the minute, too. XD XD XD )
Oh, there was so much awesome. It was amazing, Loki is the only guy I know who can do so much evil stuff (He really was really, really horrible) and still manage to wriggle a way into my heart. It's kinda annoying. He'd do something nasty, and then he's smile, and oh, it's so endearing. I hate liking bad guys. :(
Banner was amazing, and I an VERY pleased to announce:
MARK RUFFALO IS BETTER THAN EDWARD NORTON.
I loved him! He was very very endearing, too, and not in a creepy way, like Loki. :D Hulk was also glorious. XD
Cap was wonderful. I didn't even really notice his outfit (which I don't like in this movie) so that was great. He seemed a little two depressed, though, and I don't like seeing depressed people. I know what's its like, and I don't want to have to see Captain America go through something like that.
Stark was great. And he did have the round ARC reactor back. XD I really didn't like the triangle at all.
Hawkeye seemed *just* a little off to me. I love Haweye, and I think he was the only one that they could have done better. He was still great, though. They could have made him more relevant.
I, as you know, love Black Widow. And yeah, she was awesome. My only complaint with her, is I wish she had the same beautiful long hair like she did in Iron Man II.
Thor was Thor.
Nick Fury was fabulous. XD I even liked Mira Hill, she was great, I was afraid she wouldn't be. :)
Well, I'd say more about how I feel about the movie, but there would be spoilers.
It made me happy, it made me sad (I didn't like that part) it made me laugh a tremendous amount. I don't EVER remember hearing that much laughter in a movie theater before. It was wonderful. We are all sitting there, in the same room, watching the same movie, yet we are all very separate and have nothing to do with each other, but when we laughed, it was like we really were all watching the movie together and it was wonderful. It really was extremely funny.
There came a day, a day unlike any other, when they said, heed the call, assemble, and it was Marvel's finest hour.
(Marvel's finest two hours and 23 minutes, to be exact YD )
